If your organization holds or plans to request Provider Independent (PI) or Legacy IP resources, you must work with a Local Internet Registry (LIR) sponsor—such as Ipregistry—to meet RIPE NCC requirements.
Only an LIR can officially request new PI resources, and once allocated, these IPs belong directly to your organization and can change sponsors if needed. Without a valid sponsorship agreement, RIPE requires that the resources be returned.
A common case is IPv4. When you buy an IPv4 subnet and want to use it under RIPE NCC, you have two options. You can become a Local Internet Registry yourself, which costs several thousand euros per year, or you can have us sponsor the resource for you, starting at €120 the first year and €240/year thereafter.

Your first independent resource with us, an AS number or PI space, is 50% off its first year. Leases and one-time fees are not discounted.
No setup fee. Prices in euros for customers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Everywhere else, prices are in US dollars. Prices are VAT exclusive where applicable.
We also offer ASN registration and IP address (PA) lease.
Due to current RIPE guidelines, new IPv4 PI resources can no longer be allocated (with the exception of temporary IPv4 assignments), so only IPv6 PI resources are available. We are well-versed in managing these IPv6 requests. Additionally, you may acquire dedicated IPv4 and IPv6 blocks for Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) using the reserved prefixes 185.1.0 .0/16 and 2001:7f8::/32, which are strictly for IXP peering and should not be routed on the public internet.
